Hello! I’m excited to share a new project that’s been in the works for a few months with Ciaran Ballesty and Ben Sanders.

I was responsible for the art direction, asset creation, set dressing, lighting, and foliage materials. Going into this project, I wanted to push myself out of my comfort zone by creating a grand outdoor environment. I knew I wanted an Icelandic-inspired outdoor scene with these huge curling basalt spires that I would come to nickname ‘wild basalt.’ The wild basalt was created to add some mysticism to the landscape, intended to mimic warped, skeletal remains, while simultaneously adding gentle movement into a rocky environment.
